Basic needs in a Microscope
  • Eye piece power X objective lens power = magnification. (10 X 10 =100)
  • For most fish keepers a 40-60 power and 100 power are required. A 400 power is occasionally useful, but only if the microscope is of reasonable quality.
  • Slides, cover slips and an eye dropper.
